Keyence LJ-G 2D Laser Example |
The LJ-G200 Displacement Laser Sensor was used in conjunction with a linear move system to produce these 3D images. A National Instruments LabVIEW program was written to handle everything such as reading the data in, controlling the linear table movement, displaying the data and manipulating the resultant image.
Since we handle the programming of a variety of instruments, controllers and various operator interface equipment devices, a working solution can be found for a variety of production controls. Statistical Process Control (SPC), maintaining traceability, barcode scanning, RFID applications, predictive maintenance, vibration monitoring and much more can be implemented easily with these tools. |
Shown is 90 scans of the 2D laser shown in a 3D view. The area scanned is about 3 by 3 inches. |
Shadowing was applied to the 3D image to better see the surface detail. |
Shadowing and further color enhancement was applied to the 3D image to better see both the surface and side detail. |
